Pastor Darryl L. Walter, Sr. was born in St. Louis, MO, and raised in the St. Louis County School District. He attended the House of Prayer-West under the leadership of his parents, Bishop Samuel Walter and First Lady Margaret Walter, for many years. Baptized in his early teenage years, he received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. He served as a Deacon at House of Prayer-West and was later called into the ministry.
In his later years, Pastor Walter joined Faith Miracle Temple under the leadership of Bishop Larry J. Baylor and Pastor Marlon T. Baylor, serving as and Elder. He, along with his wife, Evangelist Tara Walter, of 37 years, and their three children, had been members of FMT for over 24 years. They are proud grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren. Pastor Walter and his wife served in several ministries at Faith Miracle Temple, always in the posture of servanthood, willing to fulfill the vision of their leaders.
Pastor Walter has an associate’s degree in industrial technology and has pursued his Bachelor of Biblical Studies through the Midwest School of Theology. He and his wife are founders of Faith Deliverance Ministries, which started in Greenville, IL. Through this ministry, many “Searching for the Truth” Bible studies have been taught, sharing the love of God and ministering the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to many souls.
In November 2024, Elder Walter was ordained and installed as Pastor, with the sacred ceremony officiated by Apostle Larry J. Baylor.

Lady Tara Walter served as a faithful member of Faith Miracle Temple for over 24 years under the leadership of Bishop Larry J. Baylor and Pastor Marlon T. Baylor. She participated in several ministries, including the Shepherd Ministry, Dating, Marriage and Family Enrichment Ministry, F.I.R.E Ministry, HGMDI Ministry, and has served in any capacity as needed.
Lady Walter accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age. She was baptized in Jesus' name at the age of 10 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16. Her passion has always been caring for and ministering to infants and children, which led to her current position as owner/operator of Kids Kingdom Childcare, LLC.
She holds a Bachelor of Ministry from the Midwest School of Theology. Lady Walter has a love and heart for souls and is always in a posture of servanthood.
She has been happily married for 37 years to Pastor Darryl Walter, Sr. They are the parents of three wonderful adult children and grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren.
With a heart devoted to service, Lady Tara faithfully walks alongside her husband in ministry, embodying grace, strength, and a true calling to service God's people.
